Riding my bike out in the country helps me enormously.
I don't have depression but this was awesome guys. Great talk and i got a lot out of it
Well Done Chaps, i've had my life stripped from me because of family trauma that then turned into a life long mental illness for me, although maybe i've had it in the background just waiting.
We can all put on the brave happy face when in public, but its the private home time people don't see, the constant thoughts of "is today the day"…. not leaving the house for days on end…. etc etc
Its very hard to deal with when you are not the person you once were, its almost like your old self is alien to you. Like you are completely different person.
But, we have mates… Which helps in a momentary way, but the underlining issue will still be there just waiting for a quite time to sneak up on you.
Good on you for being brave enough to speak openly about it
You've gone up in my books
Great content guys on a very important topic π
i like to call it the fear of the fear! have managed it well now. good job guys
12yrs ago i was diagnosed with aspergers syndrome witch has made it very hard to make friends throughout life. I'm 52 now and have learned to deal with it but feel so alone at times. I wish I had a mate like you mark who would understand me without judgement. You're vids are great especially this one. Keep up the good work mate..
Good on you guys for talking about it. Long live afternoon nanna naps. Iβve gotta walk somewhere nice or ride somewhere nice when feeling down. And at the end of the day, booze doesnβt help.

Good on you guys! A conversation that I stumbled upon and I enjoyed the insight. A conversation that needs to become mainstream, so thanks for that 20 minutes!
