    I used to work at a shell service station in Australia. A person filled petrol instead instead of diesel in his car. Instead of calling roadside aasitance this person pushed his car to the corner of the gas station and you will not believe what he did next. He used the vaccuum cleaner to suck fuel out of his car and caused a fire. I wonder what he was thinking. Did he really think the fuesl would go back int o the tanks underground. I cant believe someone would do that.

    I learnt that the hard way – after I got stranded shortly after leaving the gas station on two occasions. It turned out, that my '06 Charger RT was a part of a recall for faulty gas tanks. More specifically – a problem with the vapor recirculation valve caused the car to stall and not be able to start again, if it was overfilled.

    So what do you do when you go to get gas and you put the nozzle all the way into your tank and squeeze the trigger and it "shuts off right away"? Is the nozzle defective? Because the only way I get around that is to pull it out a little and squeeze the trigger only slightly. Why would it be doing that? and is it ok to fill it that way or will that be filling it up too far?

    True Story. > Waiting at the bank to cash my check years ago and across the street a tanker truck was filling the tanks while i was i line. Was looking over at the gas station and a Geyser of gas shot up from the stations venting system. I was like uhh hope nobody is smoking as this could get ugly. Got my check cash and high tailed it outta there pronto.
    I was not gonna be a fireball victim that day hahaha
