The new BMW M3 was the talk of the town for the longest time for its face. The company didn’t change it despite the outcry, but I guess it is time to move on. That aside, the car is still a great handler. The switch to the torque converter from a dual-clutch has also drawn polarizing opinions, but overall the new M3 is a delight on the tarmac.
The folks at Carwow pit the new M3 Competition against the old BMW M3 for a series of races and tests. But, the catch here is that the old M3 isn’t in its factory tune. The car comes with a power bump and makes 700 horses as opposed to the new M3’s 510. Will this play a big role in the result?
