This first-generation Mercury Cougar has undergone an older restoration and a coat of metallic green paint. The body features a hood scope similar to the scoop found on the Dan Gurney XR7-G option package for the 1968 model year and the factory-correct ‘electric shaver’ front grille.
The interior houses black bucket seats, an aftermarket steering wheel with wood rim, and new green carpet.
The seller notes the rebuilt engine has fewer than 1,000 miles on it, and the odometer shows 83,381 miles.
