There was a collector car auction, a special display of the hottest new products direct from the virtual SEMA Show — but now they were present to see and touch — and even a showcase presented by the Antique Automobile Club of America. But the big attraction for the Spring Carlisle event was the huge automotive swap meet that is the heart of the annual gathering.
“For five days in April (21-25), the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds became the destination for car lovers to buy, sell and trade all things automotive,” Carlisle Events boasted in its post-event news release.

Regarding the auction, the event generated more than $6 in transactions with a 72 percent sell-through rate. The top sale was $136,425 for a 1957 Ford Skyliner. The auction also raised nearly $30,000 for charities.
Next up for Carlisle Events is the Import & Performance Nationals, scheduled for May 14-15. Then follows the Carlisle Ford Nationals, June 4-6; the Carlisle GM Nationals, June 25-26; the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, July 9-11; the Carlisle Truck Nationals, August 6-8; Corvettes at Carlisle, August 26-28; and the Fall Carlisle, September 29-October 3.
