On August 31, 2017, FCA shut down the Conner Assembly Plant in Michigan and the Dodge Viper was officially axed because it couldn’t meet new safety regulations.

Is the Viper dead, though? Not really. Yes, Dodge isn’t making it anymore, but the carmaker managed to sell four Vipers in 2020, according to a report by MotorTrend.
