I have to do this exact same job on 1 of my project cars except the damage is on the drivers side. All the electrical harness, battery box, shock tower, frame rail, and intercooler is located at. I dread doing this job it’s a major job. I have the original new apron, but I have to get an outer structure piece also. I don’t have a plasma cutter, so I’m going to have to cut it out with a body saw. I did start removing all of the spot welds. I got a brand new flange tool, mini sander, the air chisel for when I replace the panel. I’m going to have to replace the radiator support too cause like you said shifted over from impact. Thanks for the tips.
show us how it came in to the workshop to you.
Nice job you two 👍
Thanks for all you do, Pete and Minnie!
Good job pete and minne.🇺🇸😎!
We had something similar happen to one of our fleet vans. An 07 caravan. It pretty much shifted that whole front inner structure over to the passenger side along with the strut towers and frame rails. We decided not to fix it and just used it for parts and scrapped it. Their insurance paid us for it. We would have had to cut the whole entire front up to the firewall off probably. Was more work than it was worth. It would probably never drive straight again. I have fixed front end damage like this by cutting out damaged sections like the headlight buckets. Keep up the good work. you are awesome
