    How much does it cost to get that $4 part installed. Because that's the real cost. I realize it's cheaper than the alternative, but it's not a $4 repair.

    This ticking noise is consistent right?… the noise would just get faster?… I have an 09 f150 5.4 (156k miles, just got it new to me about 3 weeks) and I’ve been hearing a ticking like noise but usually only hear it when against a wall under acceleration only… I’m not sure just yet but I just changed the oil and the noise may have gone away, it was not low on oil… thoughts? Normalish?

    It is not only the cost of the rollers it is the cost of labor

    Yeah we just replaced engine in our 2013 expedition, only thing the extended warranty wouldn't cover

    I HAVE NEVER seen any pan carnage like that in my 50 yrs of wrenching!…………i couldn't begin to count the lockups i have had that MUST rotate to remove those pesky converter bolt. piston pieces and rod chunks are normal but that view of the garbage in your pan was epic. that view up thru the cyl. was also very artsy! loved the empty valve guide left as a clue……………….
