Hi Scott: love your YouTube, learned a lot. May I have a question for you, I have 2010 Venza one of the driver backside strut make a noise. I want to know: do I just need to change one or do I need to change it all 4 or I need change 2 should be fine? please thank you so much

Here's a question i'd love scotty to answer. I drive a 1995 honda del sol, 5 speed, SOHC 1.6L engine. It uses regular 87 octane unleaded gas. Pretty much every gas station in my town has the 10% ethanol mix. However, i found one station that offers 93 octane ETHANOL FREE gas! i've used this pricey gas (about $3.60 a gallon) on occasion and boy does my del sol run/perform so much better. Should i continue to use this expensive non ethanol gas or stick with the unleaded/10% ethanol blend? What's the best choice on a car from the 90's?

What do you suggest about diesel engines, and the way that diesels work?

  4. Theo Schütz

Higher octane means a more controlled explosion. Like you said not some parts ignite before others or visa versa.

i know this is off subject but does anyone know if you use 5w 30 or 10w 30 in a 1995 Toyota Camry?

I can remember my dad saying to not always get just unleaded gas but get the premium every now and then. It's nice to know my dad was a wise man too.
