The Bel Air was purchased by the seller’s father 18 years ago from the Volo Auto Museum. It was previously restored with new Surf Green/India Ivory paint, re-plated chrome, polished stainless trim, new brakes and exhaust and more.
According to the seller, engine and transmission work was done about 10 years ago in which a newer fuel tank, radiator and suspension parts were installed. Less than 2,00 miles have been added to the car since the work. Odometer shows approximately 41,000 miles.
Classic.com reports the average sales price for 1957 Chevy Bel Airs in the past year is $68,695 with the lowest sale at $13,500 and the highest coming in at $170,000.
