Loud pipes save lives.
Just found your channel. Honestly I like the calm tone of your videos, most motovloggers try way too hard and come across as annoying.

electric cycles are good for short trips and going to the supermarket
The primary future problems with the "environmental friendliness" of electric motorcycles are:
How do we obtain the materials necessary to produce the high-capacity batteries within the weight needs of a motorcycle, and;
How do we safely dispose of expired materials or damaged electric motorcycles (namely the battery materials).
Often these materials are not recyclable. Whereas the aluminum and steel used in motorcycle component construction are, to various degrees, recyclable (market demands aside).
The simple fact is electric vehicles aren't a savior for our problems. They may delay reaching that point of no return but a year or a few years, but the hard truth is that we have to reduce the manufacture of new vehicles by drastic numbers in order to make a dent.
When we're ready for another bike, we should buy used. Every used bike/car/electronic device we buy earns us just a bit more time to be able to ride our motorcycles and enjoy those twisty forest roads!
Also I have a buddy who has ridden an electric bike as his daily driver in a major city for a few years, now (I think 4?) and he's never had an issue of people not hearing him. I can say, having borrowed his bike for weeks at a time when my daily driver has been waiting on parts or whatever, that the lack of engine noise doesn't seem to have any impact on other cars being aware that I'm on the road.
Mostly it seems that pedestrians are more unaware of me, but the city I live in isn't very pedestrian-friendly, so that's not a huge issue outside of small neighborhood roads.

Guess we should figure out how to stop all those volcanoes from putting billions of tons of pollutants in the atmosphere every day, and while we are at it, get 3rd world countries to stop doing the same thing. 1st world countries are constantly shouldering this burden to stop pollution when in fact we are the least responsible.
Sure we have to find a better solution in terms of a more environment friendly power source, yet I don't think electric cars/bikes are the solution. It should be seen as a step stone as every battery needs lithium and to get this mineral is not really environment friendly, we only change one natural source that we steal our planet with another one
Don't think anyone thinks electrics will save earth but for the performance potential & advantages of electrics
I don’t think the sound that a motorcycle makes has any relevance towards safety. It is just for pleasure.
Their sound has never captured my attention before I have actually seen them on the road while driving my car.
And even after seeing them I would say in most cases you barely hear it because of music playing and the car being quite insulated 🤷🏻♂️
But maybe it’s just me putting my music way too loudly in my car 😂
