Excellent suggestion Scotty about configuration of disabling the system at a certain temperature.
I programmed by 2013 BMW 328i to disable the star/stop function at startup, using Beamer Code.
it was pretty easy to do.
I'm guessing most vehicles can be reprogrammed also.
