Gran Turismo 7 will release on the PlayStation 5 later this year, and those who are eagerly awaiting the game’s arrival will be in for a treat. The game’s head designer, Kazunori Yamaguchi, recently spoke with Japanese magazine Octane and indicated that GT7 will return to earlier form with a full volume of features that became the defining traits of the older Gran Turismo titles. Realistic graphics and extensive car collections, in particular, were foundational pieces of earlier GT titles, but with GT Sport focusing more on interactive racing elements, realism took a back seat to the racing experience. The folks behind the development of GT 7 now plan to marry those worlds together to create what we hope will be the best Gran Turismo game ever.
