Thanks for keeping all of us updated. Lots to think about

I think that even if it doesn’t get cancelled, a large amount of people will pass on the event.

We hav an event in less than a month and I afraid if we have it we will lose money on the deal

I hope things are better and it's easy to say it's a go.. and I'm so stoked to come, but right now, as far as I can see, I feel it would be a huge mistake.

I have 1000's of dollars invested, and hope all reservations simply roll over to having the 80th in 2021 if they do decide to postpone.

Will I be upset? Pissed off? Hell ya..
But I and those I care for will be safer.

This many people, from all over the planet, converging in one place at this time is just idiotic.
    I'd be coming from Canada.
    So many coming from overseas.
And almost ALL of us will have to ride through HOT ZONES to get to Sturgis. Zones that won't have hotels, camping, or restaurants for us to stay and eat along the way.
Not to mention that after the rally, everyone would possibly be taking the virus home with them, spreading it even more.
It just is COMMON SENSE to POSTPONE UNTIL 2021

*Those saying "going no matter what".
Going where? Staying where? Eating where? If it's shut down everything else will be as well… No?

I have booked and paid to come from Australia for sturgis… but am not even sure if govt will allow OS travel… or if USA will let me in… i can cancel bike hire but buffalo chip wild gypsies camp have no refund or exchange so thats my money down the tube… i hope its cancelled so i can keep plans not miss any action and still see it all in 2021… and pray that the amazing willie nelson will play for me next year??
Not to mention the risks of health… my country may not let me back home without enforced isolation on my return… so its all very frustrating… i hope its postponed till 2021 so we can all get back on track and without all the unknowns… i am keen to watch for next updates of info from this channel. Meanwhile… keep ridin' … wild 'n free… from Gypsy Soul Rider Suzi🦅

Rally or not, I will be riding to South Dakota. There are plenty of other things to see anyway.

They might wait to see what Laconia and Americaide do first. Should have a answer for laconia this week. They did just cancel all the fall fairs here.

  8. Deluxe Chimp

Hmmmm, who knows where it will end up. But I'm sure Ellsworth AFB would appreciate if 500k-750k people didn't roll into the region.

As of monday 6/15/2020 the city of sturgis voted to have it. Subject to change if there were to be an increase in c-19 to point of cancelling.
