I used to have a 98 Cavalier, base model, with a 5 speed manual transmission. Overall it was a pretty good little car. I paid $400 for it with 295k miles and drove it for 2 years, put 20k miles on it, and sold it for $400. It didn't cost me a dime and it was a lot of fun to drive with that manual transmission.

Those cavaliers are runners , you wrong on this one scotty " proof they had race classes only cavaliers, they hold rm wide open every Saturday the drive train outlasted the metal they did rot you right about that . Now there was 4 cylinder ones I beileive. I still think Toyota Honda better most models but don't sleep on the cavalier
