nice work for home repair. I'd appreciate little advice. I hit something with my car and lost two little covers for washer jet and tow hook from front bumper. Got replacement parts and some colour and clear coat cans to spray paint. Parts came primed. I cleaned them with meths to begin with. Sprayed 3 coats of paint and 3 of clear. It looked great. But the result is that the paint is very soft and chips off back to the primer from little stones real easy. Shows how resilient the original car paint is though. Any advice how to redo it and end up with hard paint that won't chip that easy? Thanks a lot.

That Duplicolor was way off… maybe compound the rest of the car to see if you can get it looking closer to match.
