Here’s what it’s like when your customer won’t pay you the money he owes you. Here’s what it’s like when you work on a car or truck for full automotive restoration and the owner is a total jerk off to you. It’s an extreme fail when your painting a car and the owner won’t pay you any money. Small Business Practices for a better quality life.

Thats why I work only on my cars, Anyone else dont know what it cost
That kind of crap is what I make the customer pay half up front and then if they don't want to pay the rest then I stopped halfway through and they didn't have a half-done job
I'd have no interest working on this car.
You're the man, I've been watching you for years, I've learned alot from watching these bad ass videos!
I think you need to keep your cool Pete because all this anger and stressing out ain't good for you buddy get a deposit on the jobs before you start give the customer a ballpark cost of repairs then work and keep the customer informed of the progress and the problems never take on unknown costs of the repairs on your own shoulders work with the money you are given at an hourly rate most of all keep your cool it's not worth the strain on your body mate Rob
Fuck it let them pay or buy one done. I got one customer that owes me $1200 and another one $600. Lol
That’s a car?
Why would anyone restore that piece of crap? Rare is not enough. And I want major coin before I turn a bolt. I ain't a bank. I ain't your daddy.
Hey pal,you go thru this money crap a little too often! I'm not telling you what to do,but what is your policy for doing this kind of work? You need money up front every week or every 2 weeks, right? No money,no work! Strike 3,you're out, come get your car! The customer needs to know your policies concerning payment or payments. Some where along the line, some of your customers haven't got the message from the very beginning! All of us see the high quality work coming out of your shop, getting paid should not be a problem! Again,I'm not telling you what to do,or how to run your business, but up and coming craftsmen need to learn how to deal with slow paying customers. Man,I hope I'm not over-stepping here. Hate seeing you and Minnie go thru this stuff! Thanks for all you do!
