Dear Scotty Kilmer I was watching your channel since it began and I wanted to say thank you I have gotten seven people to switch to Toyota currently I have 180,000 miles on my Toyota and I have never had a check engine light with proper maintenance the only thing I have replaced is my engine oil transmission oil

To be honest if they are Monroe's yes.

    Other off brands no
Some sit a little higher than stock, ride a little stiffer.

Hey Scotty! How do your new neighbors like you lighting up the tires and yelling, "REV UP YOUR ENGINES!"?

I've used quick struts before. They were OK. I mean if i was planning on keeping the car for any length of time, I would put nicer ones on, but in a pinch, they can be OK, especially if you're looking to sell the car and fix the suspension before you do. I guess the trade-off is the cheaper pre-built struts are easier to install and do yourself (espeically if you don't have a spring compressor) but you'll probably be changing them more often as they are not usually the best quality (although I got a decent amount of life out of the Monroe quick struts I bought once–had them for a few years and then sold the car).

Scotty, Do you keep in touch with any of your old customers back in TX? I'm sure you had quite a number of them that brought their cars to you for a long time. Just curious…

I chuckle cuz it's a nightmare but I feel your pain. Did a blower motor in a Rogue today. Why do I love doing difficult things. Your in a Breed of your own scotty.
