Mental Mods is a show about building and fixing project cars with an emphasis on giving new projects a go, doing it yourself and thereby growing yourself mentally.
Life stressors can take their toll and we can’t ignore the strain they have on our mental health. For many, finding something to explore, build or create are ways to help manage that stress and improve overall mental health. Groups like Art & Craft and Men Sheds are some examples of supports that we can find within the mental health community. Mental Mods aims to contribute to that community by show casing the journey of automotive related projects to others, in hopes that it may inspire others to find their own DIY projects for the purpose of bettering their mental health.
So come along on the journey and maybe learn a few things from a guy who is just giving it a go and watch me fix a few things and maybe break a few more things, but most of all to enjoy it all together.
Mental Mods is not my day job so usually it’s a one episode a week kind of gig.
