Great info! I always tell the other driver to let the battery charge for at least 2 minutes. Probably 5 minutes is better, but people are in a hurry or stalled in a bad place sometimes.
I'll start turning the engine off from now on, or just don't do the jump.

Help. 2003 Toyota Camry SE 2.4L. Its not throwing any trouble codes but has engine vibration, that vibrates interior panels, at various RPMs. The worst is from about 1700 to 2000 RPM. The car has about 135k miles. I have replaced the harmonic balancer, front and right engine mounts, spark plugs, coils and three exhuast dampers( 2 at cat and 1 front of muffler). Found no vacuum leaks, but still rep[laced intake and throttle body gaskets. The car feels nice at higher RPMs and accellerates as I would expect. I've also used 2 tanks of GUMOUT injector cleaner and tune up with PEA. Replacing the injectors is my next item, but wanted some input before I purchased them. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If Scotty EVER took off his glasses for a video, his gaze would destroy the internet. (NOTE TO SCOTTY: Never take them off!!!)

Scotty: I’ve got a 2004 Chevy Corvette, just over 100,000 miles on it with an unusual problem. Occasionally when I first start up the car and if the outside air vents are open, I’ll smell gasoline odors coming thru the vents. This always lasts about 10 seconds. I took the car to a Chevy dealership, they found nothing. They checked under the hood, found no leakage. What are your thoughts on what could cause this to happen?
