    To the OWNER of the CHEVROLET CRUZE with the P0420 code:
    Try checking the AIR INTAKE DUCT for cracks, splits, or any damage. (The large rubber hose between the Air Filter Housing and Throttle Body.) A damaged Duct will cause excessive, unfiltered air to enter the engine and cause it to run lean, possibly leading to Catalytic Converter issues.
    The original Air Intake Ducts fitted at the factory are JUNK and almost always crack, tear, or even disintegrate. The good news is that if yours is damaged, a replacement duct is fairly cheap and in some cases FREE if covered under campaign/warranty.
    Source: My 2014 Chevrolet Sonic had a cracked Air Intake Duct and it was replaced for FREE under a GM Campaign.

    Scotty is the 2017/2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD a excellent "not good" but great buy? My 07 Chevy Colorado is getting up there 123k runs good but I'm done with GM. That will be my next paid off truck. Thoughts?
