Had a squeaky door hinge. Sprayed with WD40 Silicone spray. Noise went away for about a week. Tried regular WD. Noise went away for about a month. Rubbed a little synthetic motor oil on the section that was rubbing 6 months ago. No squeaks.
I wonder if it's the same stuff here in Canada. Most technitions and Mechanic's wont touch the stuff. Its refers to as canned water. I have seen metal myself sprayed with WD 40 rust because of the wd 40.
