    Scotty. I have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe with over 207K miles.  When the car passed 90k miles the brakes always squeak when I use them.  It happens at high speeds and stop n go traffic.  I've replaced every piece of the brake system that's on and around the wheels and it keeps happening.  Everyone has checked them, from the motor head down that lives on my street, brake specialist, to the Dealership and no one can figure it out or find where the squeak is coming from or why it's happening.  And the squeak is still there even after replacing parts. Any ideas? It gets annoying in stop and go traffic.

    Also Don't use synthetic Lucas oil Additive on a older car with high mileage it will destroy it.

    Depending on the car changing a worn out air ride suspension over to a standard one will improve handling, sometimes even better than they were when new.

    I can attest to gm having bad abs systems. Ive had 2 s10 blazers and a gmc jimmy. Each one has abs issues especially the jimmy. Was driving it and the brake pedal went real stiff to where there was no brakes and it made a buzzing sound, almost got into a wreck because of it. I just unhook the abs anymore on them as i still like those old square s-series trucks and theyre basically all i drive. But with that abs, IT DONT NEED IT!
