    Hi Scotty
    I have used a FilterMag device on the oil filters on my 25yr Land Rover Defender diesel for the last 4 years, and the engine oil stays gin-clear on the dipstick between oil changes. I believe it picks up the particles too small to be stopped by the oil filter cartridge.
    I also have a FilterMag attached to the diesel fuel filter cartridge.
    These devices use a very powerful rare-earth magnet in a shaped housing (specify radius for your filter) and are so strong, that, once fitted, you can not pry them off, you have to carefully slide them off lengthways.

    Does synthetic break down by natural organic processes? Anaerobic?

    I am guessing synthetic oil spills, cause a greater negative affect on the environment, than does that of organic processing.
    Not to say Oil does not contaminate the environment, as it does..

    I glued a rare earth magnet inside of each side of my baseball cap soon I will be able to forecast earthquakes

    I use Amsoil signature series and a NAPA platinum filter made by Wix. Cannot get any better. Got one of those '17 CRV's with the 1.5L turbo. I get a little bit of oil dilution, not much.
