    Yeah sure 7500$ sure you can brag about how cheap you buy your cars but then where is your enjoyment? did you ever had a dream car? I am sure you haven't. does it pay off to have cheap cars? yes and no for some people having their dream car means much more than having a cheap car. Personally I wouldn't enjoy any car in his driveway for more than 1 or 2 years.

    …very logical indeed but I guess my hood didn't get the memo. Every home on my street has 2 or more Luxury daily drivers from MBZ to Volvo's to Tesla'which constantly gets traded or upgraded. Than a few owns exotic supercars, some classic American muscle and classic imports which 3 by luck I inherited.

    A car can be a great investment. If you drive it to work or use it as a work vehicle. But I do agree buying a Expensive car is a worst investment. And if you see a car like stocks and don’t drive it you’re just plain stupid.

    My 2003 Peugeot 206CC (1.6) is great. About £3000 (GBP) into that car total including basic repairs by professional mechanics and a replacement head unit, but excluding tyres, tax and servicing. There are a couple of codes left in the computer but nothing that undermines the car as a daily driver. I picked it up in 2016 from a one man dealer operation at the side of the road because I needed a car in a hurry for a new job. At the time it had a little over 36k miles and about 59k now. I can park it pretty much anywhere without worry since it's small and dinged up and in the real world it's faster than my 1999 Subaru Impreza type R STi because the suspension is softer and I don't worry so much about running over potholes, fallen bits of trees…
