    I guess the Subaru/Toyota half-merger was from a position of weakness, according to Scotty. However, I think they both benefit from them owning part of each other. Subaru gains the hybrid technology they need for their cars. Toyota gains small sporty car expertise and AWD for their cars. In that case it is a win-win for the two manufactures. I know Scotty for the most part dislikes Subaru, but 97% of their cars are still on the road after 10 years of ownership, which is pretty good.

    Ranger Pick-up's that live where it snows should regularly get the under-carriage washed-off – the right-rear leaf spring bracket and frame often get very rusty and come apart. Corolla – great cars Camry – the best cars from the mid to late nineties, in my experience.
