I like having my wireless fob and all, but I wont get a vehicle that doesnt require a physical key to run.
Running too cool is bad for hard drives too. Ideal temp range is about 30-55C. 20-30C is alright, or under 60C, but there start to be a lot more failures at that point. < 20C or > 60C has a much greater failure rate.
I've heard the base 3.3 V6 in the F150 is a good engine in its own right. Still naturally aspirated, no turbo crap.
Got a 2011 F150 screw ecoboost. Just turned 327,00 miles. Always have ran a catch can, full syn. Schaeffers supreme, motorcraft filter. Took converters off long ago. Big air intake and aftermarket aftercooler.
Yep, my dad always said "Never Buy A Ford". He was a mechanic too. He suggested Toyota's. He passed away way too young, but I bought a Toyota and the only major thing I've had to do was get a new alternator in 12 years.

Well done- ps- I have 05 4runner v8 Limited- normal key and fob combo (immobilzer) I also love tgat its the last year of no annoying sounds telling me to put on my seatbelt (when Im just hooking up to the trailer or moving it around on my property) I like riding bareback! 😉
I always just open my door the old fashioned way with a key. No worries about signal getting stolen.
