Updated range will include an Outback-style wagon, as well as upgraded technology and styling.
The Skoda Superb Scout has been confirmed as part of the car’s refreshed range, which will debut on May 23, European time, in Bratislava as part of the World Ice Hockey Championships.
In a video posted to its Twitter feed, the Czech automaker teased further elements from the updated car’s interior and exterior, including the range-topping Laurin & Klement trim line.
The Scout variant will likely feature raised suspension, all-wheel drive, and grey or brown plastic cladding on the bumpers, side sills and, possible, over the wheel arches.
Skoda has already confirmed the revised Superb will be available with full-LED matrix headlights, and scrolling LED indicators.

In Europe the Superb will also be available with a new plug-in hybrid drivetrain, expected to borrowed from Volkswagen Passat GTE update, which marries a 115kW 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an 85kW electric motor to deliver a total of 160kW of power.

Kurt McGuinness, Skoda Australia’s public relations manager, confirmed to last week the facelifted Superb will arrive Down Under during the third quarter of 2019.
