Vehicles Affected: Approximately 250 model-year 2019 Jeep Cherokee SUVs

The Problem: The front passenger seat mounting bolts may be loose, which could cause the seat to move in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The Fix: Dealers will tighten the mounting bolts for free.

What Owners Should Do: Jeep manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles began notifying owners April 11. Owners can call the automaker at 800-853-1403, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
