Not a kill switch but ok
2008 Pontiac G6 GXP. I bought ours new February 2008. Today we have 137,000 miles. Dealer repaired Transmission (wave pan) for $750 which GM later reimburse in full. I blew engine with 93,000 mile, aggressively driving up North Carolina mountain road. $6000 for new engine. New engine blew head gasket just inside warranty fixed no change. Few items that I haven't fixed: 1. Driver heated seat $750 dealer replacement 2. passager air bag sensor (internet horror pricing stories $700 +) 3. Tire pressure sensor ($60 each) Replaced: 1. water pump, cooling fan, radiator, key-less module, key-less remote start module. DO NOT EVER JUMP START THIS CAR! Those key-less module are not cheap. It was cheaper to tow the car to the dealer and pay dealer to replace battery than replace key-less module! Last time I put a 5 year battery. At this point I have mixed feelings on this car or any car GM is making.

Very informative I really like Scotty's videos. He does a very good job of explaining everything highly recommended watching his videos for people who do not know how to work on cars myself I'm an A.S.E MASTER CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN. Thank you Scotty for putting everything in layman's terms.
Hey Scotty! How you doing? I have a question for you, what can you say about the synthetic oils that aren't really synthetic, they have synthetic additives but to my knowledge even do they say full synthetic they are not, unless it says 100% synthetic, which there are only a few companies that make 100% synthetic like Amsoil, thanks for your time and for everything that you teach us ??
I ran into wall and my heart stopped, but I hit my restart button in time

Hi Scotty,
I am about to purchase a brand new Toyota Fortuner. I have two options: 2.7 petrol or 2.8 diesel variant?
I'll buy whichever you'll lay your hands on.
