My 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 has 294k miles on it and the trans was replaced once and the tcc solenoid. engine barely needed work other than the plenum gasket and water pump and a few sensors I replaced just to be safe. Other than that the engine is the only thing on that truck I barely work on mostly the suspension and steering are the weak spots but every truck has crappy suspension and steering of that year.

the reason they put 4 cyl motors in full size trucks is for carbon tax issues, this then allows them to make more trucks with bigger motors, they must make lots of little junk first in order to make the better bigger stuff the way the carbon tax credits work, its all a scam,

Both the regular Chevy Silverado and the 4 cylinder version are combined together in this video for trucks that won't make it to 100,000 miles,

that's why it's 5 trucks in the title and only 4 sections mentioned in the video
