New Giulia-based coupe is expected to be available with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, as well as the Giulia Quadrifoglio’s 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6.
A second rendering of the Alfa Romeo GTV has been leaked well ahead of its expected debut, revealing what is effectively a coupe variant of the Giulia sedan.
If this photo is authentic and accurate, the new GTV will have a completely unique body draped over the Giorgio rear- and all-wheel drive platform shared with the Giulia and Stelvio.
The leaked image, which seems to have been taken in a presentation, was published by Club Alfa, and marries up quite nicely with the preview (below) shown by Alfa Romeo when Fiat Chrysler (FCA) outlined its latest five-year plan in 2018.

According to the Italian publication, the range-topping model will have a torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system, and a plug-in hybrid system paired with the Quadrifoglio’s 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 to make a total of around 450kW of power and provide an electric-only driving range of about 50 kilometres.
The regular Quarifoglio engine, currently rated at 375kW of power and 600Nm of torque, is also expected to be offered.
