Upcoming performance flagship spotted at famous German race track ahead of anticipated July reveal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Photographers have snapped a largely uncamouflaged Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 prototype once again, this time doing laps at the famed Nurburgring circuit in Germany.
In these latest images it appears the vehicle is pretty much production ready, with the only bits missing being the badging at both ends.
This vehicle also appears to be using the base-spec headlights, though we reckon they’d be swapped out for Porsche’s flagship LED units with quad-cube signature for production.

Like the upcoming 718 Boxster Spyder we’ve seen testing in recent months, the 718 Cayman GT4 will be a limited-edition halo model for the entry-level sports car range, with a focus on offering the purest drive experience and shaving precious tenths of seconds off lap times.
If the recently-revealed 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport is anything to go by, the road car will be powered by a 3.8-litre naturally-aspirated flat six. In the Clubsport, that engine makes 313kW of power and 425Nm of torque.
