I my case what i will do is to cancel my reservation, i have heard enough about out of pocket maintenance of out of Warranty teslas, i did not like what i saw. Even on tesla website, there was a case of 2 engine replacement in one year, it was under warranty, but 15000$ if was not. The feeling out there with all the research i did, is that once you get in to the tesla world, you are held hostage to their rules and this is not a good feeling. Sad, i dreamed of that car for years.

Nearest service station is almost 200 miles away.
Guess I will keep my bullet proof Lexus.

great video! Im taking a Tesla into consideration. Doesnt seem too bad to maintain. Gas cars are great before 90-100K miles.

I own a all wheel drive long range Model 3 with 10,000 miles. It is by far the best quality, most fun to drive, most efficient, least cost of operating least amount of pollution produced car I have ever owned. It is several levels of magnitude better than anything I have driven. Not perfect but pretty damn close and it does just keep getting better with software updates. Amazing!

Hello sir have watched several of your videos about the Tesla Model 3 and I have to say they are very informative. I bought a Lexus RX 350 in 2017 SUV beautiful vehicle but I’ve been wanting Tesla Model 3 since there release. I’ve been looking for justification to get one. I’m hoping to get one soon. Now that the Tesla Model Y what is your take between both?

Brake fluid must be changed regularly because it is hygroscopic. The amount you use the brakes hardly matters wrt fluid change. If you don't have the Tesla tool and can only replace 50% of the fluid, then do twice as many conventional changes. About the same benefit, much less than $750/pop. You don't want to deal with the secondary effects of old brake fluid: corroded, locked or leaky calipers, abs valves, boosters, frozen bleeders. A way to look at cars in parts and labor: $fluids$ < $rubber$ < $metal$ << $$$human life$$$

He’s right about the flush I’m a quality engineer at Tesla and that’s how it’s done even while filling the fluids if the firmware on the car doesn’t match the machine it even spits out an error code.
