With forced-fed LT4 from the Corvette Z06, crazy aerodynamics, and a price tag of around $60,000, the Camaro ZL1 1LE is one of the best track day cars on the market in terms of performance and bang for your buck. Thanks to a number of weight-saving measures – including a fixed-back rear seat and thinner glass – the 1LE is actually around 60 pounds lighter than the standard model. It’s said to be capable of hitting 60 mph in around 3.4 seconds and a quarter mile in around 11.3 seconds. For 2019, you can even have it with GM’s new 10-speed automatic which should make that quarter-mile time, and it’s time around the track just a little bit faster.
