Second update already being tested with first update yet to reach Aussie showrooms
A facelifted Audi A4 Avant has been spied undergoing winter testing in Sweden.
This is the second update to the current-generation A4, and appears more substantial than the revision due to go on sale in Australia from early 2019.
While that update has subtly new front and rear bumpers, and a more 3D effect for the grille, this prototype sports a more extensive overhaul.

It’s immediately apparent this car features a wider, flatter grille, like the one used on the latest A7. There’s also a new set of headlights, which lose the current model’s lightning bolt inner section.
Out the back there’s a new rear bumper with a more aggressive cut-out surrounding the exhaust tips and reflective markers. While the tail-lights are unchanged on this development model, we expect to see revisions here before too long.
Rumour has it the interior could be extensively reworked, with a dual-touchscreen layout similar to the larger A6, A7 and A8 models a distinct possibility.
