It’s been six years since the Audi Driving experience program opened to the Australian public, giving keen steerers the chance to pilot the brand’s passenger and performance offerings in a safe environment while benefiting from expert instruction – including Steve Pizzati, Audi Australia’s head driving instructor.
The opening option in the program is the Audi Advanced Driving Experience, offering track time in various A passenger, Q SUV and S performance models, along with the TT sports car.
There is now also a unique Women’s driving experience, offered as a lifestyle event that combines track driving with a gourmet lunch, a complimentary BEAR Essential Daily Vitamins product, and on-site hand and shoulder massages from Endota Spa.
The Audi Advanced driving experience course runs for a full day, priced at $999. Training vehicles include models from Audi’s A, Q and S lines.
Over the day, participants will learn skills including optimum driver set-up in the cabin, followed by a timed steering slalom, understeer/oversteer identification, high-speed ABS emergency braking with obstacle avoidance, and full laps of the track.
The next Advanced courses take place in Melbourne on 22 and 27 October, and in Sydney in December. Click here to learn more, and book your place.
The Audi Women’s Driving Experience course is a half-day event priced at $500, with training vehicles including the A, Q, TT and S models.
The course will include full track lapping, a timed high-speed motorkhana test, understeer/oversteer correction, and high-speed ABS emergency braking section tests.
The next Women’s driving experience course takes place in Melbourne on the 23 October, hosted by Audi Ambassadors Lisa Wilkinson and Stephanie Gilmore. Click here to learn more, and book your place.
Both courses are open to full licence holders over 21 years old.
