    Todays cars are made of such thin metal, there is really not much to work with, so panel replacement is about the only option. He is correct – You pull out and get everything back where it supposed to be as best as possible first, Then repair or replace panels to finish

    Could he buy the panel. Then cut out the bad car section. Then cut the panel to match what he cut out of the car. Then "glue" in the new section, and body fill the seam. Hard part would be holding the new piece in place, while trying to "glue" it in. JB putty from the inside might work.

    I bought a heavy duty 4 ton comalong at harbor freight for under $30…they are awesome for pulling. ..
